2014 Pure Stocks

  1. Batteries      must be securely mounted and shielded.
  2. Batteries      mounted inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle must be in a      marine case and must be securely mounted to the vehicle with at least on      (1), 2” nylon strap with a metal fastener.
  3. 12-volt      batteries only. One 12 volt battery only. No voltage increasing devices.
  4. No      weight on or in battery mount.

ASPIRATION AND FUEL

  1. Carburetion:      OEM only. Quadrajet (GM), Motorcraft (FORD), Thermal quad (MOPAR).
  2. No      racing fuel or additives. (92 Octane)
  3. Fuel      must be street legal pump gas.
  4. Choke      may be removed; all other components must remain stock. No carb spacer.      Vac pull off must remain intact.

SUSPENSION FRONT AND REAR

  1. All      front and rear suspension must remain stock for year, make and model. All      suspension must remain in stock position/location as intended to be used      by the OEM. No altering of suspension allowed.
  2. Stock      gas or hydraulic street shocks only. NO RACING SHOCKS. No coil over      shock. No air shocks, 50/50, heavy duty ok. Side to side size must match.      Shocks must have identical numbers on side to side match.
  3. NO      RACING SPRINGS. Stock springs only. Springs      must remain in stock position/location (no cutting of springs) and no      extra spacers may be added. Right and left springs must be a matched pair      on front and rear of vehicle. Height of springs can vary no more than 1/2      inch, when matched rear-to-rear, front-to-front. No progressive springs      allowed. No over load springs.
  4. No      offset upper A arm shafts allowed.
  5. Upper      A arm bolts must not exceed stock length. Any shim ok.
  6. Sway      bars must be connected. Shims must be the same height side to side.
  7. No      extended length ball joints.
  8. No      improved geometry center links.
  9. No      more than 4 degrees of camber allowed.
  10. C-Clip      eliminators are allowed.

WHEELS AND TIRES

  1. Only      factory stock type seven-inch wide wheels allowed. White, chrome or black      spoke, 7” wheels allowed. Bassett, ect.. allowed as long as they meet      stock type specs.
  2. No      offset wheels.
  3. No      wheel spacers.
  4. Wheels      may not have more than 3.5 inches of offset.
  5. 70 or      75 series tires only. NO RACING TIRES
  6. M +      S, or all season radials only. No snow tires.
  7. 1”      lug nuts are highly recommended.
  8. Straight      shaft steering ok factory columns may be removed. No quick steer devices      stock style pumps only no remote reservoir.
  9. Valve      stem location may not be moved.

TRANSMISSIONS/ DRIVELINE

  1. 3      speed automatics only. All gears must remain in transmissions. Stock      working torque converters only. 11in. diameter minimum. Rear ends must be      stock for year make and model. Differential gears must match rear end      (7.5”, Or 8”, Etc.) and may not be modified to fit. Mini spools or welded      gears only no posi units Open differential allowed.
  2. Hardened      axles on both sides is mandatory.
  3. Transmission      adapter plates allowed.

POINTS

  1. Points      only go to the driver or drivers designated prior to the first time the      car is raced.
  2. POINTS      DO NOT GO WITH THE SALE OF THE RACE CAR!

  1. Maximum      valve size: GM (1.86 intake, 1.50 exhaust), Ford (1.78 intake, 1.46      exhaust), Mopar (1.78 intake, 1.50 exhaust).

CAMSHAFTS

  1. Lift      may not exceed 420(measured at the valve) 421 will be illegal.
  2. Hydraulic      cam only no solid no roller.
  3. Valve      shims are allowed.

ENGINES

The maximum engine over bore permitted will be .030
